Purpose and mission
There are two fundamental aims behind various activities undertaken by Kaaya Centre.
- The first is to provide and encourage increased awareness and knowledge about the form, function, ecological importance and intrinsic value of the rural life and nature to visitors of Kaaya
- The second is to improve rural livelihoods of neighboring local community by promoting sustainable practices in farming and micro-enterprise development that caters to the demand generated by responsible tourism
