Maati Ki Baatein…

Kaaya is excited to host an experiential workshop for all age groups including families to re-connect with Mitti, self and the creative processes through sharing , doing and learning

We are joined in this effort by a team of Sustainability enthusiasts loaded with  dedication and passion to create solutions and curate experiences for the initiated and enthusiastic.

In this journey, they have already left their well-settled jobs behind and joined hands with the great Mr Sonam Wangchuk, of Himalayan Institutes of Alternative Learnings ( in Ladakh and currently are Fellows in Responsible Tourism and Sustainable Habitat.

We would be exploring the following concepts using fun, hands on exercises, games and storytelling

  • Passive Solar
  • Mud-earth
  • Nature Art
  • Diya making & more

As an organic and evolving space for workshop, reflection and engagement, Kaaya invites you to join us in embracing mitti and Diya’s as a precursor to Dipawali Celebrations.

We are suggesting the contribution for the workshop as Rs 2100 that includes refreshing meals and accommodation for one night at Kaaya mud earth cottages. In case you are constrained and want to attend only for the day, you can still register with us.
